UAE royalty visits India: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nayan led a high-level delegation to India and discussed international issues with Prime Minister Modi. The two leaders signed nine agreements which are: cyber security, infrastructure investment, cooperation in the areas of renewable energy, space exploration, insurance, culture, Skill Development, trade and business, and currency swap arrangement.

Minister of happiness and tolerance: Ohood Al Roumi and Lubna Al Qassimi have been appointed Minister of State for Happiness and Minister of Tolerance. The Prime Minister felt the need to work towards the Social good and satisfaction of his people while taking responsibility for the happiness of his citizens, and has appointed ministers to work strategically by creating policies and plans that are in line with achieving this motive; to make the UAE a nation in which its citizens are happy and satisfied with every aspect of their life. According to the 2015 World Happiness report, UAE ranked 20th in the world.

22-year-old minister of youth: The ministry of youth affairs is a new ministry added to the cabinet Shama Marzoui a 22year post graduate is appointed the minister of youth. The youth forms the majority of the population of the UAE and the Prime minister felt that it was only just and wise to have them represented in the cabinet. The younger generation would now get a chance to enter the political scenario and contribute to the growth of their nation.

1Megawatt solar photovoltaic project completed: Emirates engine maintenance center has successfully completed installing solar photovoltaic panels; the panels would produce 1 megawatt of clean energy reducing 800 tonnes of carbon emission every year. Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) combined with Emirates Airlines to complete the project and increase the use of Sustainable Energy in the country.

Dragon mart 2: Dragon Mart 2 that houses 570 shops, 520 booths, and a car park that can accommodate 4,500 cars was opened by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The Dragon mart is soon to become Dragon city when the expansion of the mart is complete, will cover a distance of 11,000 square feet.
