ENEC launches Subsidiary: NAWAH Energy Company is a subsidiary of the Emirates Nuclear Energy Commission launched a subsidiary that would handle the units 1 to 4 in Barakah. NAWAH is a company that would function to provide electricity in the safest way possible from nuclear energy plants. The objective of the company is to strive to become an internationally renowned nuclear      energy company that uses nuclear energy for peaceful and progressive purposes. NAWAH is all set to bring international standards of safety, security, quality, reliability and transparency to the nuclear energy plants in Barakah.

Installation of Lampposts: Mohammed Bin Zayed city will receive 4366 lamp posts as the Abu Dhabi Municipality is set to install 4366 LED lamps through the city. The Abu Dhabi Municipality is focused on providing the best infrastructure to its residents. At the same time working to build infrastructure that is environment conscious.

UAE Fifth place at Legal framework Index 2016: UAE has reached the fifth place of the Legal framework Index on the annual global competitive report that was released by the International institute for Management Development. UAE to get 10 More Malls: Majid Al Futtaim, a company in UAE is about to invest 30 billion dollars and construct 10 new malls in UAE. The malls are expected to create 170,000 jobs in the country. The company has acquired land for the massive project which will soon be underway. Most of these projects are expected to be completed between 2019 and 2021.


Best Government App Award: The “GOV Awards” 2016 that was held in Dubai, was won by the government of Dubai. The Dubai Now app that was downloaded 143,000 times offers a wide range of services from various government sectors. The ‘Dubai Now’ app allows its users to avail services from Public Transportation, security and Justice, Health, car driving, Visas, education services, Islam  Services, Business, Housing and Public Services.
